Appellation: St Helena, Napa Valley

Acres: 2

Soils: Located in the juncture of York Creek and the Napa River so all of the alluvial soils have been deposited in this vineyard creating rich soils. Vines were planted in the year 2000.

Climate: The St. Helena AVA is located in an up-valley area, where the climate and soils are quite different from the surrounding regions. The marine air incursion that affects the lower areas of the valley is not so dominant here. However, cool Pacific breezes from the north reach St. Helena earlier, cooling vines quickly.

Varieties: Cabernet Franc

Comments: The Varozza family has farmed their vineyard since 1885.
