OUR WINES
When Tom Gamble began making wine, he also made a pledge: he wouldn’t place his family name on a single label until the wine was worthy. After years of hard work, that time has come.
In every wine we produce at Gamble Family Vineyards, our goal is simple: to capture the essence of its Napa Valley vineyards and the grapes grown thereon. We seek balanced, nuanced, complex wines—wines as distinct as the soils from which they spring. We let the land dictate the varietals we grow, and we apply only natural farming practices to ensure the full expression of our fruit. We harvest our grapes in micro-lots, picking our fruit at its peak ripeness.
The work can be painstaking, but it pays off. Our attention to detail often demands that we harvest our small blocks multiple times for greater complexity. Once fermentation is complete, our many micro-lots provide a rich palette for our winemaker, who blends them into the wines that bear the Gamble family name.

2008 Gamble Family Vineyards Gamble Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc |
| The twelve-acre Gamble Vineyard sits in the geographic heart of Napa Valley. This superb site is warm enough to develop Sauvignon Blanc's tropical fruit flavors, yet cool enough to retain its natural fruit balance and crispness. The wine has great complexity and layers of flavor with toasted honeycomb, orange, grapefruit and lime marmalade peel, hints of passionfruit and a long persistent finish. More Details |

Gamble Family Vineyards Old Vine Petite Sirah |
|
| The fruit for this inaugural Gamble Family Vineyards Petite Sirah comes from a very special heritage vineyard in the northern portion of the Saint Helena appellation. The vines were planted 45 years ago. We are fortunate to benefit from the growers planting decision over 30 years ago. The vines are gnarly, head-trained (no trellis wires) and dry-farmed on well drained soils. They have battle scars and character aplenty. Due to old age and the absence of drip irrigation, yields are naturally very low, less than 1.5 tons per acre. Flavors are concentrated in to this very small quantity of grapes.

2006 Gamble Family Vineyard Heart Block Sauvignon Blanc |
| Our "Heart Block" Sauvignon Blanc comes from the center, or heart, of the Gamble Vineyard in Yountville. We wanted a reserve Sauvignon Blanc with underlying rather than obvious power, a wine that simultaneously embodied force and grace. This Sauvignon Blanc will continue to improve with age for more than a decade. More Details |
