Our Cairo Cabernet is named after Tom’s dog and constant companion, Cairo. From the beginning, we knew we wanted the Cairo to be special. An enormous amount of time and thoughtfulness went into the Cairo, beginning with the vineyard, through barrel selection to bottling.

Distinctive earthy, mushroom and smoke around spicy vanilla and black cherry.

Rich aromas of spiced apple pie, cinnamon, clove, jasmine, roasted hazelnut and caramelized orange.

Rich nose of blackberry, cassis and chocolate with hints of eucalyptus, cola and anise.

The aromas are a mix of red cherry, cranberry, redcurrant and tobacco leaf with rich earthy undertones of coffee, white pepper and chocolate. Soft and plush tannins compliment the distinctive varietal traits – peppery redcurrant, pomegranate and black mission figs.
